Update: Perhaps you have seen a postcard with juvenile negative messaging. The "sponsors" are developers who seek to remove anyone who dares to question their greedy plans. Their claims are false and designed to boost their business interests. They will never silence my support for, and representation of, the people of Woodinville.
If you’ve landed on this page then you may have seen signs around town declaring that I am “Bad”. These messages are based in toxic masculinity, put up around town to protect the hegemony of entitled male dominance. I do not need to explain which men are toxic – likely you have noticed them yourself.
In my tenure on the Woodinville City Council I have never engaged in denigrating social media campaigns intended to discredit or mock those with whom I disagree. I seek to understand where common ground can be found. I steer clear of social media because I prefer to meet people in person.
Seeking compromise and common ground is a virtue. Working to find what unites us is the noblest of ventures and it all begins with respect. I am unafraid to speak my mind, admit when I do not know something, and always put the needs of others above myself. Toxic masculinity cannot fathom this.
Woodinville needs to save its retail space. Sales tax generated by our local businesses keeps the city portion of our property taxes low.
City spending must strategic. We must finish the projects we have started before taking on new ones. Inflation has increased costs, reducing our budget reserves.
Affordable housing and retail space must be required throughout downtown. We need a Council that will require all new development to include affordable living and working spaces.
Wear the fight against want-a-be authoritarians.
I designed this t-shirt in 2021 in response to a local man who goes full DARVO on women who disagree.

A soundtrack for your consideration.
I choose to focus on projects to help Woodinville, keeping the city on budget, and work within the limits of our city's responsibility. Photo-ops and empty promises are not my thing, getting the job done right matters more than praise.
